About Us

A coach in your ear, not a screen in your hand

RunPulse Audio was born from a simple frustration: training apps that demand you stare at your phone mid-stride. We believed runners deserved better — guidance that adapts in real time, delivered as calm, clear audio so you can focus on the road, not the display.

Our story

Most running apps are built around dashboards, charts, and rigid plans that don't adapt when your body says otherwise. We saw runners starting too fast, burning out on inflexible schedules, or simply losing motivation halfway through a workout with no one to adjust the plan.

RunPulse Audio flips the script. Instead of presenting data on a screen, we translate GPS and optional heart-rate signals into real-time audio prompts. When your pace drifts or your effort spikes, the coach speaks up — adjusting targets, extending recovery, or offering a form cue, all without you ever looking down.

The result is a running experience that feels guided, not governed. You set your goals, tap start, and let the coach handle the details. After the run, a short audio recap tells you what went well and what's next — in plain language, not jargon.

Our mission

We're building the coaching experience runners actually need: hands-free, adaptive, and respectful of your time and energy. Our mission is to make structured training accessible to every runner — from first-time 5K hopefuls to seasoned recreational athletes coming back after time off.

We believe coaching should be calm, not intense. Precise, not vague. Supportive, not shaming. And above all, practical — focused on what helps you complete today's session and show up for the next one.

RunPulse Audio works on iOS and Android, connects with HealthKit, Google Fit, and common GPS and heart-rate wearables, and requires nothing more than earbuds and a phone in your pocket.

Our Values

What guides everything we build

Calm

Steady guidance that reduces stress and keeps attention on the run. Minimal, low-glance design with sparse, predictable prompts.

Precise

Specific, measurable direction runners can immediately act on. Clear ranges, timeboxes, and action-first language.

Supportive

Encourages consistency through empathy and progress framing, not pressure. Streaks and adherence are trends and learnings, never judgment.

Practical

Prioritizes what helps runners complete today’s session with minimal setup. Fast start, simple week view, clear time estimates.

Design principles

  • Make the next action obvious

Every screen answers “what do I do now?”

  • Default to low attention

Designed for movement, sweat, glare, and one-handed use.

  • Explain decisions briefly

Show the reason for changes in one sentence.

  • Prefer progressive detail

Start simple, let runners drill in only if they choose.

  • Treat data as coaching material

Translate metrics into actions, not charts-first narratives.
